We digitized this beautiful design from a hand pattern that was originally created during the 13
th and 14
th centuries, when ecclesiastical art was in its glory. Use it on fine vestment linens: chasubles, stoles, maniples, burses and veils.
The IHS monogram is a shortening of the 1st century acronym Ichthys, which compiles to "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior" used commonly by early Christians.
