We manually digitized this beautiful design from a hand pattern that was originally created during the 13
th and 14
th centuries, when ecclesiastical art was in its glory. Use it on fine vestment linens and communion linens.
To many, the ancient fleur de lis is a stylized representation of an iris or lily, and because of this association it represents purity, and in turn the Virgin Mary.
Its three sepals and petals also symbolizes the Trinity.
