First Communion Symbol

This 1st Communion symbol includes both wheat and grapes.
The wheat symbolizes prosperity and fruitfulness, as well as the bread it will become and the hunger of the soul it will satisfy.
Grapes symbolize fruitfulness, gladness, and ripe harvest and is the symbol of the wine our Lord used at the Last Supper to consecrate into His precious blood.
