At the summit of the Sri Prada, a sacred mountain in Sri Lanka, is a small plateau. There is found a huge boulder, about 8' high, atop which is the sacred footprint. During the pilgrim season Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims ascend the mountain to pay homage.
Buddhists believe that the footprint on the summit of Sri Pada is that of Buddha, the Hindus believe that the footprint is of Lord Siva and Muslims believe that atop the mountain lies the sepulcher of Adam.
