The external ornaments for a bishop are the processional cross, which extends above and below the shield, and a pontifical hat, called a "gallero," with its six tassels, in three rows, on either side of the shield, all in green. The bottom usually contains their motto.
The bishop may then select his items to be placed on the shield. In this case I have included the purple crosses on the upper portion of the shield for decorative purposes.
These can be replaced with other personal preferences along with adding additional preferences to the filled black area of the crest.
