Anchor Cross #1
The Anchor Cross is an early covert Christian symbol. It continues the symbolism of the ichthus, or "Jesus fish," and represented the Church. It is one of several cross forms called "dissimulata," meaning "dissimilar" and is a symbol commonly found in the Christian catacombs.
