Windstar Embroidery Designs

Vintage Ecclesiastical Design 850

In the 15th century white daisies became a symbol of Jesus as an infant, representing innocence, purity, and gentleness on behalf of both the giver and the receiver.
We discovered this daisy cross design in the Embroidery Pattern Catalogue, a publication offering iron-on embroidery transfers that was published in the mid to late 1800s by the Thomas Brown & Sons company of Manchester, England.
When digitizing for machine embroidery we attempted to stay as true to the original design as possible.
